Why you shouldn't tell a lie.

Telling a lie undermines trust, which is the foundation of any relationship or society. When you lie, you risk being found out, which damages your credibility and can lead to broken relationships, lost opportunities, or legal consequences. Lies also create a web of deception that’s hard to maintain—small lies often snowball into bigger ones, causing stress and guilt. Honesty, on the other hand, fosters respect and reliability, even if the truth is tough. Plus, living authentically feels better than carrying the weight of deceit. chronic lying can lead to stress, anxiety, and damaged relationships, which may indirectly affect health. Stress from maintaining lies or fear of being caught can elevate cortisol levels, potentially contributing to issues like high blood pressure or weakened immune function over time. honesty is linked to lower stress and better social connections, which can promote longevity. So, while lying itself doesn’t directly shave years off, the lifestyle and emotion...

Empower your life with 4 habits

There are countless reasons to be grateful for, but I'd like to focus on the following: Habit # 1: Be grateful : Being grateful every day is a simple yet transformative practice that shifts how your experience life. It’s about pausing to notice the good even in the mundane or challenging moments. Gratitude rewires your perspective, helping you find meaning and joy in small things. A warm cup of coffee, a kind word from the stranger or the quiet beauty of a sunrise. Start small each morning or night; reflect on three things you’re grateful for. They don’t have to be grand- maybe it’s a comfortable bed, a laugh with a friend, or just making it through a day. Writing them down in a journal can make the practice stick, creating a record you can revisit when life feels heavy. Over time, this habit trains your brain to seek out positive, countering the natural tendency to dwell on negatives. Gratitude isn’t about ignoring pain or hardships: it’s about finding balance. Even on bad days, t...

My Angel Sees

Staring out the window Dark clouds, rain drops like a snow ball, Days gone by,  Gripped by fear and pain, Her soul cries for mercy, healing is out of sight,    ' will it end someday?' No hope in sight, Future unknown, Flesh disappearing, Bones appearing,  Eyes' blazing hot, Groaning in pain, Yet tears are no more, The year passes by, no hope in sight, People look in amazement  At the sight of her appearance, Whispering mocking laughter, Friends leave, phone dusty, no calls, they fear, A new year dawns, She remembers, And angel is watching,  Surely there is a future, Faith is rising, She can feel it, Flooding her soul like waterfall, Igniting the prayer wheel She prays, fervently, trusting, hoping, Eyes lit up, she smiles at the rain, Storm is like a shower, Her prayers thunders through, Deafening the sounds of whisper, Rebuilding flesh and bones Rekindling flame of hope Releasing sweet fragrance of courage,  Over the clouds, to the heavens, Hope is in sight The angel smiles...
