Helo and welcome back to my blog. Today I'd like to share a traditional dish I learnt over the weekend. It's just basic and simple to prepare. My preparation took about an hour 30 minutes, excluding the time I spent collecting them. Dish prepared for 10 people. āŖļø15 bamboo shoots āŖļø13 small red pandanus āŖļøSome green leaves/veges āŖļø2teaspoon salt āŖļø5 chicken cubes āŖļø10 cups of water Steps: āŖļøWash the bamboo shoots. āŖļøWash the greens. āŖļøCut in half the red pandanus and remove the meat from the seeds. āŖļøDry them all under the sun for 20 minutes. āŖļøAfter drying, place the bamboo shoots first into a big pot. āŖļøPlace the red pandanus on top of the pandanus. āŖļøCover the top with the bush green leaves. āŖļøpour enough water to the top āŖļøboil on open fire for 30- 40 minutes or more depending on the level of heat used to boil. check to make sure they are cooked. āŖļøThen remove the pot from the fire and separate the pandanus,bamboo shoots and the greens. āŖļøleave to cool for another 20 minu...
